Bombinate Web Design is very pleased to share the news that we have won “Best New Business” at the 2017 SME National Awards in Wembley Stadium tonight. We feel very honoured and humbled at what is a lovely end to 2017, a very memorable year for our web design business.

At what was a great event, hosted in the iconic Stadium, we were really surprised and privileged when our name was called out to receive our Award from Sarah Ainslie of Amacus Ltd. There was no shortage of talent present in the SME Awards and there were many well-deserving companies represented from all over the UK. The winners of the SME county awards were also present tonight. The overall winner was White Cross Vets who scooped the coveted overall SME National winner.

There was a great atmosphere as the evening started with a Drinks Reception and then everyone sat to a delicious dinner of pea and mint soup, rump of Cornish lamb and lemon tart – all cooked and presented in a fashion worthy of any top restaurant. The well-deserving charity, “Railway Children” raised over £2,000 in their raffle for street children, as well as offering excellent prizes in their Silent Auction.

The evening’s MC was sports presenter Jules Breach and the braver souls among the finalists continued their party across the road in the Hilton, until 3 in the morning. No-one went home empty-handed, however, as all nominees took home an SME Finalist Certificate. A truly entertaining and enjoyable night had by all. We can’t wait to display our award in a place of pride in the office, when we get back to Milton Keynes!

Big thanks to the SME Nationals for a great night and putting on an event to remember. We will have to continue to work hard in 2018 in the hope of seeing you all there again next year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the SME National Organisers, Judges, Presenters, Sponsors and of course, all the wonderful businesses we met on the night.
